As a Scooby owner I really dispise the way this site is run!, Nobody on here has to "Prove" they have anything to do with owning and driving these superb cars, I'm sure thats why alot of the threads and answers on here are rubbish!
I do know from experiance(both national and regonial) that 13/14and 15 year old kids post crap on these type of sites at will,
So why don't scoobynet adopt a similar line to the GTOOWNERS site where everyone has a few free posts, the for a very small fee they can validate themselves to post freely,
I'm sure it would make this a much nicer place to be!

Seriously, trolls will soon get bored if no one takes the bait. Just ignore them, they will soon get bored and go away.

I'm as guilty as anyone for rising to it, but I actually decided last week to only post positive threads from now on. If someone is on a wind up, from now on I'm just going to ignore it.

 

Been looked at before. If you look at how many peeps are registered on here (about 50,000 IIRC), it's no suprise that there will be conflicting opinions.

You just have to take all the comments with a pinch of salt - it's all bollox NEVER take this place too seriously, as it's entertainment I don't even have a Scooby now (moved on ), but I still love coming here coz I've made some good friends (and that continues regardless of the car I drive!), enjoyed some very funny/classic posts, and have a good time whilst I'm here

Besides ScoobyNet wouldn't be ScoobyNet if the members didn't slag off everything associated with Scoobys (including ScoobyNet!)

The notion of "qualifying" to use the board wouldn't work, you'd still get c**p posted. Example, I have a WRX but because I don't mod it, or have a knocklink, or "defi's" (whatever the heck they are), an aftermarket "zorst", a turbo-timer etc. etc. I don't have the knowledge to input to these type of queries.

But I do have an aversion to poor spelling, bragging about dangerous driving, whining about breaking the law and getting caught etc. so there's still plenty entertainment to be had. And c**p to be posted.

Where else can you find a picture of a dinosaur cake like this one (and where else would you also discover that it also features a pelycosaur - in the shape of the sail-backed Dimetrodon - which is not in fact a dinosaur as has been pointed out last time this pic surfaced on Scoobynet)?
