Default Dump valve trouble

Can anyone help or does anyone have an opinion.
Ive tried fitting a atmospheric dump valve to my scooby, but when ever the revs die down to idle, after driving (pulling up to a juction) it wants to cut out and sometimes does. Why is it doing this? Its a non adjustable valve so its nothing to do with the tighness of the valve/spring.

I have an opinion. Take it off. It will be alot better than pulling up to a junction with a whoooosh and a stall!

Get a re-circ valve, much better. You don't sound like a **** AND no stalling either, two birds with one stone and all that

Thumbs up

Apart from the really useful replies above , I would check for air leaks around the manifold, splits vacuum pipes etc. It could still be the dump valve springs even though its non adjustable there may be an option for shims to stiffen the spring up. What make is the dump valve?.

what dump valve was it? was it made for a scooby or is it a universal fit? always go for ones for your scooby and make sure there adjustable otherwise you get idle-ing probs. you can get a nice sound by just pulling your standard recirculating valve out from you air-filter input and leave it like that

I was thinking about ditching my blitz because a dog went at least a foot airborn when it went off the other day.

I bought a Turbo-Smart megasonic previously.

And even that one, at that price and being able to adjust it, it still sounded absolutely terrible.

(Maybe my Scoob is just fussy! P1's are know to be fussy after all.... lol!!!!!)
