Default MY98 - some mods - whats it worth?

I've got a MY98 on an 'R' plate which I'm thinking of selling.
Can anyone give me an idea of it's value?

As standard the engine in the car was rated to 280BHP. It's been subtley modified and will provide well in excess of 300BHP, probably somewhere around 320-330BHP? Obviously this is an estimate. Oh and it's not an STi.
  • Apexi Power FC + Commander (Recent re-map)
  • Complete De-Cat system with lagged downpipe
  • Aftermarket SS exhaust
  • Samco intercooler hose
  • Lowered suspension
  • HKS Induction kit
  • Uprated, Walboro Fuel pump
  • Electronicly de-restricted
  • Cusco Strut Brace
  • Undersealed
  • Toad Ai606 Cat 1 Alarm / Immobiliser
  • Pioneer CD / MP3 player
  • New battery
Spare parts :
  • Standard fuel pump
  • Full STI Cat exhaust
  • Standard intercooler hose
Servicing :
  • Fully synthetic oil change (October + April)
  • Timing belt changed (April)
  • Spark Plugs (October + February)
  • Rocker box gaskets (January)
  • Front disks and pads (October)
  • Rear pads (October)
Externally the car is in superb condition with no scratches or dints.
Internally the car is in very good condition but for cigarette burns in the drivers seat and passenger seat.

I imported this car direct from Japan last year and it was stored for several months while it was prepared for the SVA with model report. Registered in November '05 this has been my second car, used only on weekends.

Mileage is roughly 80000 Miles. It's a combination of KMs and Miles afer de-restrictor was fitted, the tacho clocks up on miles.

I am sure 'bag' helped there - wtf?

I would say £4.5k - I bought my MY00 for £5k three months ago.

Prices of classics have 'flattened' completely. Earliest seem to go for £3.5k, latest classics with low mileage £7k.

70-100k facelift classics go for between £4.5 and £5.5k I would say.

Looking through the ads on the site some people seem to be asking more for pre-facelift motors without bells and whistles.

I guess the question is - are they selling?

Cheers,

Rob.

I'd be bloody pleased to get £4-5k for my 98 WRX wagon - which was imported when brand new. Got to be honest and say that I wouldn't buy a recently imported classic Scoob, for the simple reason that I'd wonder what it's been doing over in Japan for the last 8 years. And I also wonder whether if I ever come to sell it, it might be worth me putting the whole thing totally back to standard and then flogging the go faster stuff separately. Selling a totally standard car really opens up the market. Good luck with the sale anyway.
