HAS ANYONE GOT A GUIDE ON HOW TO FIT A V7 STI INTERCOOLER INTO A 1997 STI TYPE R? OR TO SAVE ALL THE HASSLE DO YOU THINK I SHOULD JUST FIT A FRONT MOUNTED INTERCOOLER?

Powerjunkie from the Scottish Section fitted a V7 intercooler into his Type-R V5. PM him mate. He knows quite abit. You will need to junk your STi strut brace though.

I wonder if the caps lock posters know just how unreadable a message is when its all in capitals? Bloody impossible in my book, I don't get past the first few words before I give up.

Is 54 too old to even have a Subaru?
Just where does 'Middle Age' start/finish?

As to intercoolers, the conversion is easy but time consuming, and a FMIC is easy but even more time consuming, and makes a big mess of your engine bay unless you really want chrome pipe bling.

The FMIC does the technical job better.
