Default What blow off valve???

Im on the look out for a BOV for my 93 wrx import, and have a few questions. The engine is standard apart from s/s cat back system and hks power flow filter.

1. Is it even worth changing?

2. What type would be best for the model?

3. What difference could it make?

Any help or feedback is greatfully received. thanks guys an gals

1. no
2. Recircultaing type (like the orginal one), if you must
3. Recirculating type - none. Vent to atmousphere type- a whoosh noise on gearchanges, possible hesitation or hiccups between gearchanges, and possible uneven idling if not adjusted right.

All I know is that the one on is a re-circulating one and the other type (the noisy one) is called an atmospheric one.

Somebody on here recommended a forge atmospheric one when I was asking before.

Found a Bailey atmospheric one for about £100.

Havnt done it yet still undecided what to put on if any

You need to ask is the one already fitted from factory worth replacing for one that gives absolutely no performance advantage whatsoever?

Money is far better spent on a remap IMO.

if you already have a subaru with big wings, bodykits, bling alloys, aftermarket exhaust and no doubt other unsubtle modifications then why not go for another mod if thats what you want. unless it will be detrimental to the mechanics of the car who cares what others think, these cars are all about look at me
take all comments on s\n with a pinch of salt.

Lots of people do mods that aren't related to performance.
