hi, ive had me scooby for a couple of years now, n its the best car ive owned yet and dont intend on getting rid of her,.....however i need more speed, its got to the point where,well lol I NEEEED MORE POWER!!!!

ok, all its got is a decat zorst/ induction kit/boost valve!

im thinkin about getting an ecu upgrade but would like advice of off you guys whos owned an early wrx and have added engine upgrades ...thanks

 

you could go along the Z4 ECU which will increase boost (so you can lose the boost valve), and provide a safe fuelling and ignition map which will suit the mods you've already done nicely.

Alternatively you could get an Apexi Power FC which will completely replace your existing ecu and will need to be mapped. The bonus of this is that you get a map tailored to your car, and this setup offers the biggest power increase.

 

thanks, is the Z4 the one of of the 95-97wrx? giving out 260 bhp? will this fit straight in my 94?

You could get new cams, clutch + lightened flywheel, lightened pullys, forge pistons, port and polish or rebore? new drilled and grooved brakes for better stopping power or you could even get 50 shot of N02.

If your getting bored with it, why not try setting up a new sound system or change your engine hoses to samco? thats what I did with my honda when I got bored

 

thanks lol, i have already have a $hit hot sound sys, i got me samco hoses on in there, n sum four pot brakes.......i could get all of the others but aint got that much cash for all that ,and would like to do sumert simple but effective

ok,....i can get a z4 for around 130 pound, or i can get an esl ecu upgrade for 195pound,......price aside,which one do u think would be best OR would it b worth me getting em both?
