The Mrs got flashed last night (speed camera). I remember seeing a link for a website on these pages about the possible ways of getting round a fine.

Bad news, NM; the site used to be here http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/2195/speedtrap_bible.html when it was run by Chris Longhurst, but you now get redirected here http://www.speed-trap.co.uk/index.html and it appears to be run by Paul Gander. I've never been able to get by the home page as it crashes my p.c. (I.E. 4) when I try. I did try it from work, but most of the useful stuff had disappeared and the site still seemed to be full of bugs.

Cheers Guys
Oh well looks like the old Bin Ladin name will have to do. He popped over from Afghanistan just to try the A45 out between Coventry and Brum.

NM,
I've looked out a post I made on another B.B. a couple of months ago. While it was in answer to a specific question on the Human Rights aspects, it contains some stuff which may be of interest to you. It's here: http://infoex.hemscott.net/MESSAGES/878006.HTM

P.S.,
I have read that in some police force areas (can't post a link, sorry), the mere act of asking to see the evidence will derail the charge. I.e. it is more cost effective for the staff to spend their time administering several "straightforward" prosecutions than spending it processing one awkward one.
That is alledgedly what happenned here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/uk/newsid_1505000/1505534.stm (paragraph 11).
