Well, there has been a bit on this BBS about the relative prices of new cars bought in the UK from IM and imports from the continent. Whilst on my hols, I came across the following deal for a standard 4 door WRX sedan in Crete;
MY01 WRX GDR 13,630,000.00
Given that the rest of life in Crete is fairly cheap, I thought I must be doing my conversion to £ wrongly, but no;
GDR 13,630,000.00 = EURO 40,000.00 = 24,847.86 GBP
So, perhaps IM are not so bad.

Or perhaps it's just even more expensive in Crete than other parts of the EU. You can pickup an MY01 WRX in many places in Europe for approx £16000 all in.......

... maybe that is why mine came from Holland

Still, just thought I would redress the balance in favour of IM by showing that they are not (quite) the most expensive.
