Thumbs up

Morning and welcome to sn

I quite like the title of your first post however you may be missing your target audience, 160 flat out will have the speed kills whingers on this thread like a shot

May i suggest a change to '160 flat out and now need a bodyshop in cumbria'.

Title can be editied in 'go advanced' when you edit.

Heh, it might work!

143mph eh? I didn't know there were any runways in cumbria? Also I think if you hit anything at that "imaginary" speed, you would need a few more bits than that.
dave

P.S. You did say an 02 bugeye didn't you? I had one of those from brand new, Must have took the best part of a week to get up to that speed!!!

Old man hit a badger at 50 once and that mangled the front end of his astra like you wouldnt believe. so **** knows what a sheep at 143mph would do

i repair cars for a living and a sheep at 140 would have totaled it there would have been nothing left of wichever part it hit think of hitting a dustbin full of concrete at the same speed and you get the picture

I've hit a large variety of animals at various speeds (possums, geese, magpies, a cat and a kangaroo) and apart from the kangaroo they don't do that much damage especially if they go under the car, I imagine a lamb would be similar to the 3 geese I hit once at 80mph and that only smashed the number plate and a headlamp.

But 143mph sounds a bit irresponsible.

Try Stuart Newby at Townend Garage, Carnforth. there is a good chance he will have what you want.
