No way WRX bugeye will do that speed unless u mean kms. Had one for 2 years and reckon it would struggle to do more than 145 on a very long runway. My STI PPP would eat my old WRX as a snack yet it would be lucky to top 160. Scoobs IMO are not great top speed cars. More suited to traffic light sprints and country roads.

I think a new car would be required at anything over 100 or even less

143mph, please tell me how you done that??
We have a 2001 bugeye PPP and the most we got out of it was 115 iirc and that was coming down a dead long straight road towards my mums, the road was running out but even if it hadn't i don't reckon we would have got anymore from the car.

I had a GPS reading of 160 in my bug WRX, at the weekend, so it can be done

I mistook you for another scoob which I nearly rear ended at Kallenhard when he out braked himself and me in a big way.......

Was yours the one I passed when you were taking a couple of bikers out? If it was you fair play mate you were going well.

My passenger seat was hardly ever empty, should have come and given me a shout I would have taken you no problem.

End of the month with a bit of luck.....

You took some catching, I will give you that. Mind you I got there in the end

Funny thing was back in the car park I was talking to Bren from Sliders guest house when I heard two of his clients talking.
'' I've just been out in a scooby''
''oh yeah, was it any good?''
''brilliant mate but see that 205 over there, that just overtook us like we were going backwards, driver is a bloody lunatic''
Bren and I burst out laughing, when we explained why he insisted I took his mate and girlfriend for pax laps, saying he wouldn't come out himself as he would **** himself ........

excellent weekend ending with the thread I have running in other marque at the moment......

76kg passenger (about 12 stone) gives 1030kg.

125bhp per ton.

What's your PB lap Gary?

P.S. You did say an 02 bugeye didn't you? I had one of those from brand new, Must have took the best part of a week to get up to that speed!!!
I have a '02 Sti and it will sit at 120mph at 5000rpm in 6th, i have no doubt it can do 143mph

There are alot less corners for me than there are for higher powered cars, lets just say that

Video of the 8.52 if you get bored.

I would have turned around and sold it then. I have hit 145 and now 168 in my '02 WRX. Of course that was on a closed course....

All this hate toward bugeyes... cant we all just get along. I am sorry, but to each there own. I don't care for the old ones and I really don't like the new alfa-roo's but you don't see me on here bashing any ones car.

160,

You might want to post up some photo's of the damage so we can see for oursleves. You never know, might just need a little bit of T-Cut to get you back up and running again.

If that's not the case you might want to consider claiming off the Sheep's insurance company. Make sure they don't pull the wool over your eyes and stick to your guns!
