Default i got 310bhp so what mod next

i just got 311/290 at powerstation yesterday on my 2001 wrx with a vf34. thats with full de-cat, ported headers and up pipe, sti intercooler, 3 port boost solenoid, a 255lph fuel pump and an ecutek remap, it didnt need the 550cc sti injectors as it was getting plenty of fuel. its also got all the whiteline handling bits, eibach springs and its had a 4 wheel alignment. so i was just wondering what mod i should get next. thanks in advance for any advice.

Message from your gearbox. No more torque please!!

Subject to your brakes being ok- have you upgraded to fast road pads? I'd leave it at that personally, sounds like you've got a nicely specified road car there! You're getting to a stage where you could spend quite a lot mmore, but the law of diminishing returns will begin to apply!

Get a new gearbox, ready to replace yours! then get a FMIC, then take apart the engine and start to change parts to lighten it. i.e flywheell, clutch, con rods etc!

Sounds like there is headroom for more power on your current spec.

Did the mapper ask what you had in mind or was there something else stopping you getting more from it?

What boost is it mapped to? Did it it target boost on the rollers? Mapped on RR or road mapped?

if it was my day to day driver I wouldn't go much further with out spending big money

if it was for weekends this is where I went from a simular stag to you

edited to add

I know it will not last at this spec but hopefully keep me going untill I get a built engine \ gear box together if it dosn't last im no worse off as I don't need the car ( don't tell the misses I said that )

its prob mapped at 1.25 if it was done at power station, i got 310.5 in my classic my 00 with a vf35 and sti8 intercooler, full decat ect. ive got loads of other mods but they,re mainly safety mods so i would mind having my boost turned up a bit next time if possible. is anyone else running a vf35 or 34? what boost you running and what power you got?? sorry to hyjack the thread.

I'm interested in this as I have the same upgrades as you except vf35 and non-ported headers and getting 309/311 at 1.3 bar max boost. I've also had a cracking tax rebate and want to spend some dosh.

All suggestions welcome...

sounds good mate, different mappers must have there own ideas of safety with boost levels cause mine is mapped to 1.25 bar.
