Right i maybe being thick lol but hear goes.......

When my scooby is movin/parked etc and when the floor is wet i keep on seeing rainbow kinda pattens on the floors but i smell petrol every morning now is it

1. Petrol leakin on the floor

or

2. oil leakin

that is makin the floor look very nice and patterny ??? do u know what i mean lol so which is it ?

 

also this as only happen 2day and there was loads

 

Sounds like a possible petrol leak, fuel smell on cold mornings is not uncommon as they use about 20 times more fuel than usual on cold start. What model / year is your car? Their was a recent thread regarding version 7 wrx's & sti's where a recall was issued due to a very strong smell.

Have a search, if it's working.

Its a 93 WRX !!! When i get chance ill go check my oil level if that hasnt moved then i got a fuel leak somewhere.... oh well...

Had to come to work in the FTO today still fun to drive but not as much as the scooby

dip your finger in it and then smell it. I would say petrol but could be either

 

wouldn't petrol have evaporated pretty smartish? unless it was still dripping
