ive got a full decat and tried obout 5 different backboxes on my car but im still not happy. is there someone that builds boxes to suit you? ive currently got my mates hayward & scott backbox on but its way to loud. im looking for something about the same loadness as a prodrive bb but ive tried one of them and it was making a mad air rushing sound with the full decat and it felt restrictive. anyone got any ideas??

 

Ring H&S direct, they should be able to make a quiet one for you.....

Theres a custom made exhaust company in Walsall opposite Manor Hospital, ive had plenty of exhausts from him in the past, you tell him what style backbox you want and how loud, and they will make it.

yeah mate i popped down but they wernt really much help, i told them i wanted a backbox that was nice sounding but not to load with the full decat, the bloke just kept saying it would bo loud, they didnt offer anythin else

 

Stick a H&S Resonated centre in. I'm running full decat H&S Front Pipe, TSL Grp 'N' rear and H&S Resonated centre.
The resonated centre drops it down by 2-3 Db to 96dB (ish) at 3.700rpm.

Doesn't sound much, but makes a nice difference.
Loud when you want it to be and subtle when not.

I think H&S also do 2 or 3 different backboxes with different Db levels
