Many of the ads in the private section begining 'a friend of mine is selling' . Am I right to feel nervous about the amount of this type of ad?

Not just that one. I have been watching them for a while now and lots seems to say 'My mate is selling' or ' a friend of mine is selling....'. There just seems to be a lot of them. I just wonder........ Worse still some of these appear to be 1st posts.

 

Mark L is an "OK" bloke ( ) - but I couldn't vouch for his friend.

 

You guys sound like my gran, those new people round here, bringing down the tone of the neighbourhood, wasn't like that in my day ;o)

I quite often get phone calls from SIDC members who don't have internet access, but who would like to sell things. I'll always state this in the post, and ask you to contact them directly.

If you don't feel confident about the deal, then simply don't get in touch or buy anything.

 

There cannot be any way those P1 spoilers are official, surely?
