Default Induction upgrade for my00 uk turbo

After as much research as i can the choices are

APS High Flow Cold Air Intake System
http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/wrx/airfilter.htm

Or

GGS036 : GGR Induction kit - European GT/ UK models
http://www.grahamgoode.com/subaru/pa...83&item=GGS036

I would like to hear wt advice other people have as I am still undecided.
I want to achive as much power as possible and will be carrying out further mods in the futher to atain this. But I dont want to sacrifice reliability.
I have been adviced to have my Tec 3 remap straight after fitting the kit and so shall do and will also be fitting a new AFS jus in case?

Are there ne pros cons of either filter?

Can the APS pick up road dirt water etc?

All help gratfully recieved.

You'll have a job locating an APS one...

Im trying to organise a Group Buy on the GGR or RCM Kit (they are both the same) on the Group Buy section on this site. Cant get hold of the APS kit in the whole of the UK.

Still the same old induction kit posts.... What are you trying to achieve by fitting one? If its more power on a mildly modded setup then good luck to you!

The APS one is good for mid bhp applications, but will blow your car up rather quickly if you dont have it mapped there and then. Casues issues with the MAF.

I did, but I personally dont think its worth it until about 350 bhp. I was in the same situation as you when I had a V5 STi and stuck with a good panel. I had headers, full decat, Tek 3 etc... The limit on mine, and most was the intercooler and turbo (VF28) before the intake.
