Yes the latest max power, my scooby certainly got beat by some monster powerful hatch backs, and so did the Lambo. DOH...

Will scan it in later for anyone who hasnt seen it, but some really good photos and write up actually.

Id would sooner read 'Gay News' in WHSmiths, picking it off the top shelf in front of all of my friends; Id sooner go to the till and have the assistant hold it in the air and shout "it wont scan; HOW MUCH IS 'GAY NEWS'?" at the top of her voice across a crowded shop, than read 'Max Power' for f*cks sake!

lol.

They are actually changing it. Their slogan has changed from "the definative guide to arsing about in cars" to... "passionate about performance"

They have also started getting really technical and detailed on the write ups and entire guides on engine tuning.

They have had a huge turn around due to some high up demands and it may swing its self back eventually into favour of those over 16 years old.

Read it today, cant believe that Fiesta with the Cosworth lump, what a beast. But out of all the cars, I would rather have the Lambo, then your scooby 2nd.

http://public.fotki.com/G_Sleigh/com...hoot_out_2005/

Photos of the scanned in pages are here but the photo hosting site shrinks them down even though their hugely high 20meg photos each. DOH

Trying to upload them to a different server now so you can read the text...

Yup the Fiesta is faster than pretty much every production car in the world according to the figures in their. Destroys pretty much everything even with price tags of upto £350,000. lol...

BUT what would you rather drive daily down the street huh? Id say the same as you.

That golf estimates 350/360bhp (can't quite read it from the scan) on 1.8 and a VF34 -seems a bit optimistic but fairly quick all the same.

Hmmmm, wouldn't be too impressed if my Gallardo was hitting 60mph in 5.5 secs either. That's slower than my MY00 was as std.

If the Lambo did its book times it would be second only to the Fiesta.

LOL!! that is pretty funny, Chav cars vs. Lambo!

I dont know how theyve managed to do 60 in 5.5 in the Lambo either, and to be fair its never going to be that difficult to get turbo charged cars accelerating faster than a supercar really.

At the end of the day not a difficult choice if you had to pick one of them!

Nova van looks pretty cool imo

As for the questions about which you'd rather have, being honest I wouldnt want to drive round daily in a Lambo, too much of a "rich boy" image, and constant worry about parking, speed bumps etc.

From that lot i'd have the 205, or the Fezza

Because there's no better feeling than wasting a £20k motor in an old hatch, or in this case a Nova van.

im sure the nova and corsa was also at the redline 0-100-0 challange last monday and one of the guys i spoke to with a 2.0 turbo engine in his nova said it cost him well under £2000 to build the car.

Why, when they've already probably spent that amount, and some, to get the performance to beat that '20K' car in the first place?
