Genuine question - Scoobs now range from around £3k - £30k
There seems to be plenty of folk on here with expensive second cars.
I was just interested how many people have paid for their cars, and how many use loans / lease etc?
(Might persuade my self / SO to get something newer )

 

Technically I own it. I do however owe the bank a few ££ for a personal loan I took out around the same time I bought my car.

 

I've got a personal loan on the car, but all the modifications i have paid for myself.... so far!

I think you'll find it's quite easy to pay more than £30,000

 

new import around £12000 added to the mortgage

 

Mine apart from the £1,500 I owe my mum for getting me by. Does that count as fully mine?

 

erm... my wife owns it. I guess that means i half own it?

One problem i feel sick looking at the prices of them today and seeing how much money ive lost.

 

Had to get a loan for mine - and I am paying that off about as fast as the damn thing is depreciating .

Just over a year left until the loan is finally paid - can't bloody wait!!

Paid with grubby notes in full - and the bank had run out of £50's so it was all in £20's - made me look like some sort of drug dealer with a 6" thick wedge of cash !

anyone got an estimate for what an import 55wrx wagon will be worth in 3 years time?

reason i ask is i bought it for around £17000 incl tracker/alarm + still need to underseal it+locking nuts, so its full UK spec.

i have £12000 owing on it and want to set up a DD into my loan so in 3 years time i should owe about what the car is worth 2nd hand.

I own my car outright but Halifax and Mint have helped with a few of the mods. Interest free so that's just dandy

 

own both of mine outright, the scoob (my2000 with PPP) and a nice 306 as a run about, 21 & a uni student... says it all
