Should I put the WR sport backbox on my 05 STI to make it noisier?

I think you should, but find a used one in good nick and don't pay £350 from Subaru..!! I found a used one in A1 condition, gave it a bit of a going over with Solvol, it looked new after that. I love it to bits on my 03 WRX.

Yeah - scoobies need to be loud, you've got to hear that heart beat. Whats the point of having a car that has a fantastic tune and youcan't here it. They sound amazing - definatly do it.

Ebay has some great buys.

wr sport back box is good. gives a nice burble on tickover + when giving it some welly, without being too noisy (don't really notice any difference from standard when cruising on motorway)

got mine on 04wrx and bought on ebay for just £60!

Had one on mine for a while, as has been said gives a nice burble at tickover and can help promote that Scooby sound but is not too intrusive for cruising with.

John.

Don't bother with the BB - just go for the T25!
