Default Forester Owners - Sign in Here !

As a new Forester owner myself having moved over from a WRX I'd like to touch base with all the other Foresters out there. Curious to see how many there are ! Seems to be a much bigger community in the US for example..

So sign in here - Pics please and details of any mods / tips etc. What made you get a Forester, did you have a Subaru before ?

So come on, show yourselves - don't be shy

Here's mine - MY06 2.5XT. Changed from the WRX due to new four legged addition to the family, plus the kids are growing up fast and the forester seems to have a unique blend of space, practicality and enjoyment factor

No mods yet but planning on momo gearknob, black mesh grill, poss front spoiler, PPP or Miltek and remap..

Cheers !
Pete

I nearly, nearly went for a Forester 2.0 XT last month but was seduced by a Mica Blue Impreza WRX wagon.

Maybe next time.

MY01 UK Forester S-Turbo auto with 109k on the clock!

Modifications:
17" MIM alloy wheels in graphite with Falken ZE512 225/50/17
H&S backbox with 3.5" tailpipe (both cats in place)
K&N panel filter
18mm rear anti-roll bar from a classic WRX
Whiteline front and rear drop links
Subaru rear spoiler (similar to the S/Tb)
42mm Subaru boost gauge (black face)
Cargo nets

Planned Modifications:
Light smoke tints
Subaru 4-pots
Tein lowering springs

I had planned to fit a Knocklink, Dawes AFR gauge, Dawes Device and intercooler raisers, but I'm in two minds, as the car is my wife's "mum bus" and not really my toy!

Very nice Andy - don't think I have seen your car before

I really like the grill - is that the subaru part ? Thinking of getting the mesh one for mine..

Also tints are definately on the list - I've seen signs for a place on the Fleet Road just along from the Shell garage by the roundabout...any idea if they are any good ?

The grill is standard plastic one!

I was going to use Autoshades in Sutton, but obviously always open to a group buy if you are organising one!!

Hi Tony, all ready to go tomorrow. Full of NF Race formula to try and get some decent figures. The proof will be in the pudding.

Cheers

Hi Palatine, "What are you hoping for?" I am hoping for a blonde 20 year old double-jointed supermodel who owns her own brewery and has an open-minded twin sister!

Seriously though, the ISDC are going to Westward Engineering just outside Dublin. I reckon with my mods I would be lucky to see 240bhp but I would say nearer to 230 would be realistic. As you know its not a JDM version so I started with a lowly 177bhp.Will let you know.
