Default WRX RA

do these come with water incooled spray?

also just wondering what sort of bhp can these internals take...and what power the stock turbo can take...is it reasonable to achieve 350bhp ish on one of these without any internal work?

any info related to WRX RA that you can give me would be fantastic.

Raz

Raz
Model code GC8A47D or GC8B47D

No water spray by the way and about 240 bhp as standard.

The question as to how much power the car can take is very tricky. What's the history of the car? How many miles has it done? You see you could get the power upto around 300bhp and have no problems or you could do nothing to it at all and it could break tomorrow. Are you with me?

Also, have a look here

http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm

and I would suggest posting the questions in technical, the mods will move it any way.

First thing you need to do though mate is give us all something to go on. Get the turbo code for eg VF22, the correct engine code, history, current mods. I have an MY99 RA and I know they can be a bit perplexing - happy to help be need more info.

Cheers

J

P.S. See you in Genral Technical

Dont worry mate the car will fluctuate in terms of power output depending on the season. Try not to worry too much

I had a early 1994 WRX RA.

Mods: ScoobyECU 15.5 psi, H&S decat downpipe, Blitz Exhaust rear decat, HKS Induction Kit. Dont know how far you can go with the engine, how big is your pocket.. I hear the early ones had a higher compression ratio and could not take much boost before detting.

Made 279bhp on RR day. They have lightened bonnet, boot, no skirts, no rear spoiler, Close Ratio Gearbox. Mine had A/C and Central locking some dont have these.

They are rapid upto about 100Mph.

Cheers

Andrew
