Well it must have happened.
Any WRX owners taken on a Kia Pride and monstered it
How about a 1.3 Capri, maybe a challenge on the straights but the twisties - thats another matter.
How about the traffic light GP with a 1.6 Hyundai Sonata or a 15 y/o fiesta 1.1 - dusted it good and proper?!?
How about a drag racing with a Reliant Robin, you got bogged down off boost and with heatsoak but finally caught it and just got past before the 1/4 marker
Have any WRX drivers got arond the Ring in less than a day?

I had a traffic light gp with a diahtsu matiz yesterday, but luckily when I got to 15mph I just managed to edge away.
(wont mention the audi rs6 or something that totally blew me away the first day I got my scoob though!)

Really p1ssed off some young kid in a 'mamas and papas' pushchair, smoked him good but nearly bogged it down. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I lost BIG TIME to a snail that was eyeing me up at the lights ,,,i saw him look over and he gave me the nod,,the road was clear and straight so i thought ,your mine buddy !!!!
As the lights went amber he screeched off leaving an awesome slime trail ,,this would have been the end for all 2wd cars, but fortunately my 4wd meant i could keep traction on his slime,,,,he had the jump on me but his shell looked very aerodynamic,,not standard at all ,,plus i only had 95 ron fuel in the tank and i hadnt changed my air filter element for 2 days,,,but still as we got to 1.5 mph he had the edge , fortunately for me however in the distance getting very rapidly closer was a bend and i knew that my 4wd should pull him back in the twisties ,so i kept my foot to the carpet and sure enough as he hit the bend he sailed off straight on into the hedge on his own slime.
Fortunatley he was ok and suffered nothing worse than a dented shell and a bruised slime gland but he had a new ceramic slimer already in his racing shell back home under the slab ,,,,,,,up the pod i think he would just beat me unless i added a de cat,,id trounce him then cause that would give me another 3bhp,,,,,round a track i reckon id have him easy though and id just laugh at him in the wet,,,,unless he put track rubber on ,,,,hmmmmm but then i could put some mudflaps on to try and look like a rally car,,that should swing it back in my favour.

A BMW 5 took me on, in my 1984 Old Polo once.
I managed to keep up on the twisties/islands too because he was such a crap driver Left me for dead on teh straights though

Hactually that sh1tbox, after I sorted the ignition/fueling was quite a traffic light blazer, Saxos, Corsas, 106s, 206s, Clios, KAs Fiestas, Focii, you name it. If it was 1.6 or below I'd be laughing, as the front ARB mounts rattled whilst the Road champ tyres scrabbled for traction in 2nd gear

Yep its not just BHP its the torque with those little blighters!

I know there all fun stories but I have a real one..
Just moved from the lights heading up the open road, dual laned. Look to the side on theres a Fizza banging against its rev limiter with two lads leaning forward in what I can only assume was an attemp to gain some speed
Obviously I smoked his ***, but I felt kinda bad cause that used to be me...

LISTEN YOU *****!!!! I'VE GOT A WRX AND I LOVE IT. NO WAY IS IT SLOWER THAN A 306 GTI-6, OR A FERRARI, OR A ZONDA OR A MCLAREN. HOW CAN IT BE?? IT'S GOT A RE-MAP, GOLD WHEELS AND A FLAMER KIT. At this point you might want to look at a brake upgrade or such. I suggest painting the existing calipers with hammerite!

Sits back relaxed with Scooby magazine, dressed in WRC Fleece, Hat, gloves, socks & key chain festooned with WRC goodies... Feels kinda nice with the nostalgia of my 205 in the distant past.
