Default DASH LIGHTS NOT WORKING

ANYONE TELL ME WHY THE SEAT BELT LIGHTS AND THE OTHER LIGHTS ON MY DASH ARE NOT WORKING. NOT WORKED SINCE I BOUGHT IT. BE A FUSE OR BULB? CHEERS FOR ANY HELP THAT YOU CAN GIVE

Sounds like a fuse.

However, Scoobies are very sensitive to people using the Caps Lock for Internet posting

Just hope someone has'nt disabled the dash lights to cover up a few probs??

I would have thought that pulling the fuse would be the way to do it, check the fuses, pull them and examine them to see thay are not blown and check that there all there, usually there is a guide in the lid of the fusebox or in the manual.

All fuses are fine none missing. There are a couple of plugs not connected. Do you think that some of these could be from when the alarm was installed, as not of them seem to connect, apart from 1 which when i plugged together make the check engine light flash but did nothing to make the seatbelt light come on.


Ive bought a Dog I no it. Spent too much on it now to get rid though

Strange - i would take it to an auto electrician or a scoob specialist in your area for a diagnosis. This should not cost much and better to know where you stand IMHO.

I had the same problem the other week, was a blown 10Amp fuse in the fuse box next to the accelerator pedal.
