Been offered a 60's Mini cooper shell... no rot on sills etc and been garaged most of it's life... actually tempted to take it on having found some interesting Type R subframes available... and having seen an example go on track defo up for it! Begs the question what other options have been done... I know jack **** about mini's BTW... So scrapper Type R block for £1,500... Shell bugger all... stock ecu... perhaps PFC as an option using exisiting loom... dunno just a thought..
Some examples I've found..
V8..

Call me a prude, but if it's a genuine Cooper shell, it might pay to flog it and buy a slightly newer less rars shell.. i'm sure you'd get a reasonable price for a cooper shell..... do you have a v5 for it..???

Ah.. so if it was once a turbo'd mini, assuming they got that far, the shell will already have had the bulkhead butchered for fitting the turbo, so anything you do to it won't devalue it anymore cos it;s already worth sod all.....
