If its not available until 2006 in this country where do they expect you to get the parts to fix it? The 2006 MY have a new front bumper too. It doesn't show the damaged area in the photos either.... You tempted then Scoobyboy!!!!!!!

To be honest I quite like the MY06, Will have to wait until some 2nd hand ones come for sale in a years time, As my policy of never buying a brand new car is still in place, and let some other bugger have the 1st year depreciation.

I think I would like to know more about how this car got to be in this state!
What else has been weakened apart from the visible damage!
Has it been dropped off a lorry or quayside! - or do they have really vicious speed bumps in Japan!!
Cheers!
Steve

Was speaking with one of the guys at my local dealership, and they tell me they won't be getting any in until sometime next year.

What's the chances of some of the suspension parts being the same as the new age models? You may even be able to fabricate some of the less complicated parts anyway.

Shouldn't have any problem registering it though - may have to go through SVA or something.

they already are, they (there are 6 currently in this country) were being used by one of the rally day experiance centres to run tests on them (found this out when a friend of mine bought her husband a rally experiance and got to have a play in one and told me about it), i would stay well clear, fair enough you may get a very new toy, but, thet are gonna have had the nuts thrashed off em.

There may well be MY06 cars in this country, they might even be registered to use on the road, but thats very different to an unofficial import. Unless there is a Model Report available to hire for this car, then there is no way that it can be legitimately registered to use on the road.
