Just got car back from dealer 10k service and they've dented my door,
When i asked about it they told me it's not a fresh dent, (like the date was on it).
I was pi..ed to say the least.
Dent master out at dealer charge tomorrow.

 

At least they are paying to get it repaired I suppose. I could be worse. I've heard or mechanics writing off customers cars on road test

 

I had the same thing done to mine a year ago.......the dealer never accepted responsibility but resprayed the damaged panel for me.

A lession learnt hey..........I now do a walk round with a member of staff and get their check sheet signed (also request that the car is NOT Washed!)

Next time I go i'll have to request that it is washed as it has never been done in the past

Collecting your car with damage is something I'm painfully aware of - -glad to see you got some action!!!!!! In the next week or so I will be posting my experiences of using this garage for all to judge.

Iv'e always found them very helpfull and today once the OWNER came and looked at the car and said that they'ed sort, it all was fine again and they were very helpfull.
They then showed me round the 500 BHP orange wagon there working on.
The jury is still out!

I'm really glad to hear your success, the dent damage to my car represents only one failing and unfortunately there are more - if only the director (owner) had taken the time to respond to my e-mails I'd be much less caustic.

yup, ive got a my05 and noticed a few scratches after being washed by the dealer the problem is that the manufactorers are not allowed to use celly paint anymore now it this water based paint which is soft a sh*t!!! and scratches far too easily.

(a huge problem with the Mazda RX8)
