Im about to complete a deal with a chap and his late 02 wrx,
tell me, is there anything that i should look out for ?

Late 02 should still be under dealer warranty, so if you put it in for a service before the warranty is up mechanical parts needing replaced should be FOC. Watch out for discs/pads, they may well need replacing and the dealer may not cover these (consumables)....worth upgrading the brakes anyway as you will soon find out they're pretty crap!! Enjoy your new toy. Only had my 01 wrx ppp and still can't get enough of it which is srtange for me.
