Default MY99 STi5 Maf ....

Done a search - reckon the maf on my sti5 is knackered (lumpy idling)
Will a maf sensor for a STi5 be the same as one for a MY99 UK car...?
Also any idea of the part No.....?

Cheers in Advance

Yes, the uk one will do. Have one on my sti5 type R.

Part number 2279aa010

Read a post last week about how a nissan one was the exact same part for half the price tho. Might want to search that out.

Cheers pal,
not sure about using other car brand parts unless i knew 110% it has no effect on the car.... Think i'll stick with a genuine scooby 1 -

Many Thanks.

Also -
will the ECU need to be reset after the new maf is fitted....?
Is it possible to do this by myself - or let the guys at the garage get on with it?

Cheers

Got MAF fitted today and all seems ok (idling like it should )
Just wondering if its necessary to Reset the ECU as i'm a bit worried about the alarm getting funny as it plays up now and then and losing the code on my stereo.... (happened with my old scooby once)

So basically i just want to know is it sort of necessary to reset the ecu after having fitted a new maf?

Cheers
