hello. is there a rule that scooby drivers flash other scooby drivers? ive had my wrx nearly a week and sofar 3 other scooby drivers have flashed me. just wonderd. thanx

Not a rule but most do it.

Some people on here actually get upset at others not waving back

Oh don't mention the fogs. I still cannot believe that the classic Impreza was built without a light on the dash to tell you your lights are on......drove around the other day like a right numpty. Only realised when I saw a strange reflection in someone's bumper when I was in a queue behind them

 

I keep knocking mine with my knee On the classic legacy you can't see it because the wheel and indicator stalk are in the way I feel like a proper chav

 

Yeah, I keep knocking mine with my knee too. Plus the previous owner has added extra powerful fogs, and a HUGE easy to press switch where the old one was

At least if he had fitted driving lights they would have been some use

 

You say that about people being upset if they dont get flashed back, but it is sooo annoying when you flash/wave at fellow scooby driver and they look at you like your some kind of plank.

Maybe just my area, as soon as i drive to other areas everybody in scoobys wave.

So yes it is a rule you have to flash or wave

I got my first wave last week. Well it was a nod actually. I must have passed 30 scoobies in my region without getting any acknowledgement....oh well

I live in Essex Romford area, annoying yes but as you say its up to them.

Bet they would wave if they where broken down etc

it took me 2 weeks tho to get used to me flasher bieng on the wrong side

Birmingham area scoobies hardly wave back. Normally the dodgy ones NEVER wave back.... they just look at you and put their foot down to show you they are faster than you!!!!
I've always wave. Now thinking i wont bother at all until they wave at me first!

 

I have just returned to the fold after a 20 month period...(O2 WRX WR Blue)

I have already experienced the wave and so has the wife after she dropped us off at the pub last night.

Redditch really does seem to be Scooby mad...I can count about 10 or so passing my house each evening between 4pm and 6pm.

LMAO that really made me laugh, I know the feeling, I drive a few different types of cars and the best is the horn, its on the stalk of my g/f clio and I end up squirting my windows in the scooby when someone does something wrong... lol always makes me laugh though
