Drove past the Shell garage on the Trunk Rd yesterday and they were taking the signs down, new signs??? No it's changed to a 'Total' petrol station now!!!!

Anyone know if the one at Guisbrough is still Shell??

And Thirsk Road, Yarm.

 

All a bit of a trek as I live in Redcar, hope they don't change the rest of them?? Any ideas why they've done it?

I went past today and it was closed about 2 o clock

 

its 24 hour thou so i always go on a night, no queues and never been run ot when i been there

So it's Guisborough (always closed) or the Boro (running out all the time)

If i get a scooby its going to be a pain. i have a 15 mile round trip to either guisbrough or just outside yarm.
It going to be dificult getting out of dropping into 24hr BP safeway for a bacon sanger n fill up

 

Just been to the new Total station in Redcar to fill work car up on way home and still same staff inside, payed for my petrol and asked them why it changed they said don't know just changed to Total, asked about Guisbrough and they said it's staying as Shell as far as they know nut no guarantees!! Any way noticed on the pump outside super unleaded with a number 98 next to it?? Does this mean 98 octane?? Anyone had any experience with Total super unleaded?

 

I thought optimax was being phased out all together anyway and we were getting 100ron like in some european countrys. Only what i have heard though.
