Gussy - I'm assuming Andy (or anyone else)isn't going to get anywhere near 400bhp out of a hybrid TD04. Could be a very nice turbo from spool etc point of view, but I'd be surprised to see much more than perhaps 320 out of it even on optimistic rollers.

Hades,
I will agree with you on that count I belive andy got 300bhp+ out of the standard td04 so I would expect he could get a bit more with a hybrid no dout he will post his figures as and when he completes the tests.

330 bhp max on the td04 hybrid, full boost from 2500rpm.
High 300's on the 18G with very wide powerband, some have seen over 400, not naming anyone (Martin
)
Similar on the 20G but slightly better top end potential.

Andy - I'm assuming the full boost from 2500 is pretty much unchanged from what you got on the standard TD04, you're just getting about 30bhp more at the top end? I like the sound of that.
Seems spot on to not over-stress a bug/blob UK WRX gearbox or internals, keep good drivability and yet a bit more go too.
What were torque figures and boost levels? Was that 330bhp with OEM / ported / aftermarket headers, which intercooler? Sorry for the 20 questions, just sounds like the first time I feel like a turbo change may be in order.

I suspect 350 is possible but 380 ??????
VF34 has same cold side as VF35 but it has a slightly larger P18 housing than the VF35 P15 one. Still cant see it making 380. TD05's are on the limit at 370 and thats bigger still.
I suppose we could add in 10% for roller discrepencies and that would bring the 380 back down to a sensible level
