Default If you were me, would you go for...

ok, its a kinda hypothetical at the mo, but anyhow.

Im starting up a market stall as a going concern, on top of my other "revenue streams " and I obviously need to get stuff to the market and back. I want to stay with scoobies (dont want to be a white van man) as I had one and lost it so to speak, but the boot is SMALL . It would also be a general car as well for going out and hooning round and back seat naughties

So the question is, would you go for a forester (Lux spec) http://www.litimports.co.uk/subaru/forester.html

Or a "normal" wagon ?

Now to my mind the forester looks uber sexy but im not sure its got the "chuckability" of the wrx/sti wagon. I have visions of going round a corner and it landing on its sides if I take the corner/roundabout extremely tight like I tend to do, almost to the point of losing the backend. On the positive side, i think it would be subtle but very fasy, not be degraded by chavs with Max Tw@t sticks etc all over it.

One other thing is that I looked at engine mods, but they seem to be very few and far apart.
Any people care to comment ?

I'd go for a Forester. I'd have considered an STi one if it came in black.

Forester, easily sorted with a WRX/STI rear anti roll bar and 17" alloys!

I choose the Forester because it doesn't have the 'image' problem of the classic wagon and there is far more space in the car!

Tuning is reasonably easy, Japanese cars have the TD04 and you can use Ecutek (like the Imprezas) but the UK cars have a TL035 (smaller than a TD04) tuneable to about 220bhp, or a turbo swap and again Ecutek (depending on year) A majority of the tuning parts are interchangeable with the same year of Impreza.
