Help, does this look like a ppp piggyback and how does it fit, i know there's a bit of soldering involved, i'm guessing the coloured wires need soldering, but what is that black lead?
cheers Kev.

Hi Kev,
PM your e-mail addy and I'll send full fitting instructions. I took loads of pics when removing mine to aid the buyer.
THe black lead with the plug is the programming connector used by Prodrive when programming the PPP.
Best regards,
Ian

The MY01 WRX, MY02 STi, not sure on MY02 WRX - maybe part of the year?, were piggybacks before Ecutek was used by Prodrive. I don't know of any installation details though, maybe try searching back.
I believe the board is an RPM aware modification to the MAP signal which adjusts the closed loop boost control aim point. An altered restrictor from the compressor outlet to the T-piece effects a mechanical alteration instead of electronically modifying the duty cycle, which gives the correct baseline for the closed loop system to work around.
