Default Fueling problems... BANG

I'm not sure if I know what I am talking about.

I have been told that one of the cylinders, 3 I think, doesn't get enough fuel which can be starved of fuel and then BANG.

I have a MY99 Scooby Wagon Turbo.

Do I need to uprate anything... fuel pump, spark plugs, leads etc etc?

Thanks for helping out a newbie

I don't think it's a case of needing to get a new fuel pump, but you could always buy a knocklink which monitors the car for detonation. This will provide an early indication should anything start going wrong with the fueling. Also indicates when the MAF is on the way out which is a really killer for Scooby engines.

For the Knocklink, HTH.
