Default Ignored Again........by Scooby drivers

Yesterday I had to drive to Chester from Widnes, twice, about a 40 mile round trip each time. Spotted and waved at 5 Scoobies, 4 New Age and 1 Classic.
I got 1 wave returned, from..........yes, you've guessed it, the Classic .
All but one were spotted at low speeds due to traffic, so no excuses about watching the road ahead etc. The odd one was a Blob-eye behind me on the motorway for about 2 miles, he came along side me as I took the Chester turn-off , he just looked ahead and ignored me.
Why don't New Age drivers wave back? Or even look in your direction?
This has been said before about New Age drivers on this board, why do they tend to ignore Classic drivers?

Maybe I should change the colour of my car (Classic DBM WRX Wagon) to a lime green with orange polka dots...I would be seen then, but probably still ignored.

P.S. I got a wave from an Evo driver (probably an ex-classic man)

I have a bugeye , and wave if I see ya, I even wave when im in work vehicles so if you see someone waving from a matt green and black landrover, or a 4 x 4 DAF truck it could be me.

maybe because bugeye and blobeye drivers are scared of getting toasted by classics that they keep the turbo spinning, both hands on the wheel, and eyes glue to the road so not to look enviously at the superior classic.

When missus-G was in the car with me, I waved at a lady in a Scooby who waved back (in a Classic), my missus gave me a bad look and said 'who was that then ?'
So I have to be careful of who I wave at when she's with me.

I wave at some scooby drivers but on a few occasions they just smile and think your envious of their car?? I'm confused since I also drive a scoob!
