As new with leather case and in-car stand. Key expired. Any offers?

 

is this an upgraded one that also gets the info from the 'blue pole' detectors, or is it just the motorways?

Not trying to dis your post but our 97 Vectra came with Trafficmaster & I got a years sub. Why did I bother! It either tells you that your in a jam (which you know) or tells you about a jam in the opposite direction or gives completely inaccurate estimates based on traffic 10 mins ago.

Wife ribs me constantly & I'm glad it was only £24. Can't say I've experienced more modern devices but it does trigger on blue poles.

Anyone know how to disable it before time expires? DOH!

Disable - press the button twice - shopuld say 'manual mode'
if not try 3 times, long time since i had a Vectra, don't miss it or traffic master!

I do that one - what I want is to disable it so that it doesn't come on automatically each time you re-start the car!!!

I have had it since about '96. It does have an RJ11 port on it so it probably be upgraded if it does not pick up 'blue pole' data. Incidentally, the YQ version has a screen on it and also works as a pager (Receive Only)

 

Serves you right for buying a VECTRA. Ha!

If my memory serves me correctly try pressing the button six times - this gets you into the set-up and you can adjst the volume to nil (i think), or call traffic master and ask them to disable it

Thanks I'll be pressing madly on the way home (so look out for a veering/weaving blue Vectra with SIDC stickers on the M11 about 18.30 this evening ).

Tried 4,5,6,7,8 presses - no set-up mode

Tried volume mode & it wouldn't go below a still annoying 1

I'll try Trafficmaster but don't hold out much hope

I'll just have to wait 6 months
