Default standard uk my2000 VS S2000

I have just purchased a uk My2000 turbo and my friend has an s2000, now I know the s2000 has 25bhp more but doesn't have the torque. Just wanted to know if he would he beat me or would it be very close, any one had a race with one of these?

He would beat you, eventually... you will have the better traction off the line, he will have the better power though the gears, a standard MY00 scoob is capable of 0-100 in around 15 secs, the honda is just above 14 secs.

I slowly outpaced one in a straight line in a MY99 with 275 bhp.

Standard he would beat you, as said. And he will naturally pull more birds

dont be so sure, someone sat up my **** on sunday in a red s2000 so i nailed it and after about 4 seconds starting pulling away, it was slightly winding roads at 13.0 so he may have bottled it but i left him, then he caught me up at the roundabout and sat up my @rse again so ill nailed it again and left him again

its gonna depend on whos more able

They are both great cars so just enjoy it

UK scoob is quicker to 60mph and the same as the S2000 to 100mph. 1/4mile the scoob would win

S2000 wouldn't be so bad if it wasnt for that almost upright windscreen!

His higher HP rating only means hes got a bit more torque in the high rev range, just give him a smack of ur big mid range torque, AUS wheels mag has recorded a 14.2 in a stock MY00

OK I raced him yesterday (on a safe road) I was 3 up with a full tank of petrol and he was 2 up. I got the better start and was about 1 car lenghts ahead then he clawed back ever so slightly and by the time we got to stupid speeds he was ahead by half a car by then I got scared and slowed down. good race!

As expected. By silly speeds I assume over 100mph. At a guess he would have passed you at around 110mph?
