What colour did you pick & why?
70% of 1st time Ferrari buyers purchase RED .... I wonder what percentage 1st time Scooby buyers bought BLUE?

 

I bought a MY97 Catalunya, black Mica, very rare colour in the Uk, on a (at the time) very rare car. Next was a Green MY99, again because everyone else was buying Silver or DBM. When I saw too many green cars I bought a 22B...still only ever seen one other one on the road

Yeah Mine was WR Mica Blue with Gold alloys.
I think I was inspired to go for that colour because of the rally cars.

 

MY93 WRX in silver, needed a car quick ans had a choice of two - both Silver.

Then got an STI3 in Black Mica - Bought on spec rather than colour.

 

bottle green,
cos every ******* got blue or silver.
especially when they made it official on the bugs.

 

I'll second that

I bought a black UK MY94, which was so rare that less than a year after I got it, the dealer phoned me because someone was so desparate to get hold of an early black car that they were willing to pay silly money

They paid me £1000 over book price (and it was fairly high mileage), and took £1500 off an MY97 they had. They also put spoilers and 17" wheels on it

Now I have a V5 type-r.....

 

I had an MY93 WRX in Silver,which now belongs to another fellow scoobynetter

 

This needs a poll...

 

1st MY99 Saloon in Silver
2nd MY00 Wagon in DBM
3rd MY00 Wagon in Mica Red

 

First was a red 98 Sport (No choice - New dealer so they only had the one car allocted). Second was Green 98 UK Turbo - (No choice - was dads very low milage car which I had my eye on since buying the sport )

 

98 UK wagon turbo...in Reddish Blue.
Although, given the choice again, i would've bought a Mica Red Wagon like P20SPD.

 

1st Green
2nd Blue (only came in that colour )

 

Black Mica

 

Black ... more refined, less boyracer ... IMHO

..in between was a bright orange Lotus Elise but best forget that

 

WR Blue

FWIW when I 1st started wanting one the classics looked best in silver, when the bugs came out I really liked the Mica Red, and I was definately gonna get a Mica Black blobeye until I saw a black and a blue side by side at the dealers and the blue just sang out in the sunshine. Would still consider a black next, but probably a wagon.

The Scooby I have now is the first scooby I owned. I have owned lots of cars, Nissan 200sx, Bmw 320 coupe, Golf vr6, Civic VTI to name a few but I will definitely be buying another scoob. The most fun car I have ever owned. Saving for the 22b. (not told the wife yet)

 

Well its a scooby. 95 leggy turbo. Sold with 150,000 miles on clock. Bloody lovely car and Bomb proof

2nd scooby was my99 in silver

 

Just got my first scooby yesturday (15/07/04) its not blue bt Green
a non turb tho!!!!!!

Not sure of the Official colour but it was reddy brown.


Didn't choose the colour as I wasn't bothered what colour it was .
