Pete,

So did you invite her to the next SIDC track day? I'm sure there are plenty of us that would let her drive our cars around Brands.

Cool

Pete.

You are a lucky so and so.

What other cars were involved ?, no need to give results. Who did the driving ?

P.S. Don't make the Kiwi's Waggon TOO fast

Another top show last nite ...

What poor excuses they had for owning/using a 4x4 for the school run

"I live in a hilly area"
"Have you ever tried doing a £500 shop at Sainsbury's with a pushchair"
"I live in the country"

And how much MPG did they get out of the Range Rover ...... 9mpg was it !!

I spent Wednesday with Clarkson and VBH.

If you think he's funny on the telly, you should meet him in real life. Top Bloke and has you laughing all day long. Also, not at all pretentious like some journo's I've dealt with.

VBH? well it's all been said before And she REALLY can drive a Scooby.

The days filming will account for about 6 minutes on his christmas video, out in November. UK's quickest "Cozzer" (determined by a mad 10 car drag race down the runway) versus Darren Soothill's STi V.

I'm not revealing the outcome, but you won't be dissapointed

Wish I'd been there to fight the "Cosseh" battle. Can't wait to see the outcome. I bet they were all slow though....

Pete ..

You lucky devil .... met "jezza" in the corridors of the BBC about a year ago and what a good laugh, just a run of the mill top bloke. Never met VB though ..... I think I'd turn to jelly and come over all un-necessary

I met JC when he was in the audience at Chris Evans' GLR radio programme about 7 years back.

Both he and Chris Evans were completely normal (though CE is utterly manic, totally wired, and has the attention span of a gnat!!) and took us all off to the pub afterwards. Normal conversation about cars etc ensued - Chris Evans had more money than sense even then, but was desperate to drive JC's Cosworth. Unfortunately it had been clamped out on the Marylebone Road.

JC reckoned he was the luckiest bloke in the world - he loves to drive cars, loves to chat to people, thought he was getting money for old rope, but said he wasn't stupid enough to turn down the vast sums of money he was being offered.

There were 2 EVO's there, but they weren't deemed quick/cool enough to play in this league

VBH said she would rather have an STi, anyday.

JC drove the Escort Cosworth, VBH drove Darren's Scooby.

2 EVO's milled around and were waved away.

Looks like it's caption competition time

"Please get out of my car, you've wrecked
the tires, thrashed the engine and not
even let me take you out for dinner"

VBH "Ohh you naughty boy you. Just you wait
til I get you home"
