Red face 03WRX 10K service labour cost?

I've just had the 10k service at a main dealer on my 03WRX and the labour cost was £87.75 giving a total with parts of £169.

This includes the 10% SIDC discount.

Is this usual?

Gary

£96 + vat at Subaru Dealer in Errol Perthshire.

And £35 + vat for 1st year body service at the same time (so as not to invalidate warranty)

The dealers name was Melvilles - phone them for a quote on any servicing even if you can't go there - cheap as anything and you get a Justy for the day LOL.

Always ask for a price match .

erm what exactly do they check on the 10km service - thought it was just an oil and filter change - which takes about 15 mins!! - do they charge 2 hrs labour for just an oil and filter change?- even adding in the filter would push it to 30 mins tops....... unless you have to factor in another 15 mins for paperwork

Glad I dont pay as for all cars registered between April and end June 04 the servicing (parts and labour)is free until 36k miles - so 30k miles......cant grumble.........

Thumbs up

Just had mine done today (STi). Got quoted £170 but dealer gave a nice loyalty bonus so ended up being £150. I can't rate Donalds of Peterborough high enough. Top chaps and chapesses all round
