New Impreza
Trending Topics
If you search on Google you can get pictures of the 2005 American spec Impreza. It is pretty much the same as the current car. I am not sure what the interior is like in an current American spec car, but the 2005 centre console and steering wheel are different to our current car.
There are also a couple of references to a redesigned car for 2006. Somone has even suggested that if you get hold of a copy of the game WRC 3 (For the Playstation) and you manage to win the World Championship on difficult level, then you get access to an "Extreme" Impreza. Allegedely when WRC 2 was out there was the same feature and the "Extreme" Impreza on that edition was the current model. So as you can imagine people are suggesting that the car in the latest edition game is the next Impreza. It could all be a pile of cr&p, but I guess only time will tell.

The "Extreme" Impreza in WRC3 is not a "sneak peak" at the next road car. Sure, it uses some of Zapatinas' new styling cues, and may give something away about the next Impreza, but that's about it. Apart from anything else, it is little more than the current car with a bit of "Max Power" treatment sporting a carbon copy of the B9S front end, which is itself being redesigned after coming in for a bit of a negative reception when first unveiled last year.
Also have to be careful looking at the "2005" spec US market Imprezas, as their model years are out of sync with ours, and I think you'll find the car known as their 2005 model is actually more or less equivalent to our 2004 model year cars.

Well the only thing I am concerned about is the Warranty, so it will probably be a few "cosmetic" accessories and PPP. Gabriel's insurance renewal is October so we will swap from Norwich Union to someone who won't mind PPP as much.

around the base of the gearleaver to brighten up that area of the car.

Looks very good indeed, I have a question about the STI covers (it might sound like a blond question and I shall probably have to run for cover), Do the STI covers have to be removed so you can use the fog lights? If you do, isnt that a bit of a pain.
At least the dealer has made the effort by putting it in the Showroom, sadly you now can only do a max of 4,000 rpm for 1,000 miles - oh dear.

Your right it was a blond question
the covers need to be removed and the surrounds fitted ,I hardly use the foglights anyway.
When I remove them to take the stickers off ill take a photo just for you so you can see what's behind.
Yep 1000 miles

Ooooh now your asking. To drive, the SpecC (lots more confident on the road and far more chuckable) plus I've got Ap 6-pots on there with 352mm discs so that helps to add confidence
But I have to still say that the P1 was quite possibly the most stunning car to everyone that I drove past (could have just been that there weren't many on the roads round here then, lots more Scoobs around now), but the guys who washed it at my gym used to ask if I played footy for a living and kids by my work used to yell ("hey mate, how much are you on a week") - to which I'd always reply, I get paid monthly so I don't know
