Hey guys,

Picked up my RB5 today. When i accelerate it pulls nicely to about 3K RPM then starts juddering quite badly. It happens in 2nd, 3rd & 5th can olnly get to about 75mph then there is no power/turbo at all.

Anyone got any ideas?

Yes mate, the speedo is working. Everything is ok with the car except it has no umph above 3K RPM. It just judders.

PS check your hoses from the turbo

 

Yes, One. A Scoobyworld Ninja backbox. Thats all mate, I will check turbo hoses now.

Does your RB5 still have a warranty?
If not then you could look at taking her to a specillist like ProSport in stockport who use to service my MY00, they now service my Spec C

check the hose from the inlet manifold to the intercooler.

do you have any dash warning lights? sounds like it could be in 'limp home' mode. prosport will sort it as Tony suggests
