John,

I was with John in the V reg DBM Scooby. To save us down loading every clip do you happen to know if he appears on any of them, and if so which ones?

Many tahnks,

Otis.

John ...

Great footage ... again ... and this time you had time for a talk to the camera, reminds me of the Aussie Bathurst race, they talk to the tv crews from the car !! Quite frankly I'd have to concentrate soooooo hard

Great stuff John, you are a lucky so 'n' so, seriously how does match on lap times with the "competition" ? It seems to be a great deal faster than the other kit out there ...

keep 'em coming ... max d/load for me was 40 seconds

K

i am pretty sure my car was the quickest road legal car on track, nothing came close to me on my quick laps anyway.

My quickest lap was a 1min 23secs. i think 1min 30secs in a WRX is quite respectable.

If i put the car on slicks i think it will be doing sub 1min 20's which is very quick for a road car.

Our 5 litre esprit race car laps in 1min 16 seconds to give you a comparison.

My top speed down the back straight was 140MPH, a WRX usually hits about 125MPH. I think i was taking craner at 130MPH when i got it right and had a clear run.

There is lots more time to be found in my driving yet but the car is pretty awesome now.

Only for those with fast internet connections

Well worth the download time (max 2 minutes each one for me )

Amazing how your car makes a 911 look as though it has dropped anchor when you pass it!

Must get some passenger laps in that car at some point!

Not sure what the Porche spec was?

I dont take much notice of them to be honest as they are just so damn slow. He was full throttle though and that red escort cossie was a 500BHP 8 injector with a T4 turbo jobbie

I must get my cooling sorted real soon as by the time the tyres are up to temperature the bloody water is 105 degrees C.

I guess a rad designed for 220BHP isnt much use with 350BHP
