Default Afterburner Vortex how loud

i want a back box with max bhp but i don't want it nova big sounding just a nice burble and not much cabin noise if i leave the centre box silencer on will the afterburner be o.k

hi craig, i've just fitted an angled vortex and allready have a magnex resonated centre (soon to be non res!) it is loud mate, but hey, i wanted it like that. cabin noise has increased compared with a magnex BB i had before. it does sound fantastic, perhaps something like the ninja would be better, looks good but not quite as loud

Just had scoobysport BB fitted... sounds just right.
great burble at tick over..... sounds the poddles plums when booting it.

When cruising along its just abit deeper than normal.... which is fine as my 5 month old lad can chill out in the back without having his eardrums burst!!!

i've heard the clip's my main concern is how much louder it will be inside the car,is it much louder and how loud it will be say on the motorway

Well it's loud, theres no denying that, and it drones abit, but hay, it's all part of the fun

I have a afterburner vortex backbox only fitted to my MY03 WRX and I dont think it is too loud at all in the cabin. On the motorway I totally forgot that it was there. I was worried about it being too loud but found that it is not too bad at all and when you open her up it sounds AWESOME! the box also made my car feel alot more responsive. Get one you will not regret it!
