Default Will all WR1's have same reg prefix????

If as stated in a previous thread all WR1's are being registered before going to prodrive does that mean they will all have the same two letter prefix's?
i.e all have say LB04 instead of having the two letters from the area the car was purchased or will they register the car according to where it is going? If they are registering the car to a certain dealer, then you must be able to somehow keep a trace of your individual ordered car and how its getting along and a expected delivery date to the dealer then eventually to yourself.

hope that makes sense

cheers for any comments
Ian

This is a big "if" Ian. I'm not sure whether you're referencing a comment of mine, or someone else's there, but if it was me, I wasn't saying that I new for sure that this is what was going to happen, I were merely saying that this is what would be expected to happen with the fitting of "post purchase" items like the PPP.

It remains to be seen whether the cars are actually being pre-registered, and, if they are, whether all 500 will be registered en bloc.

We'll find out soon enough; shouldn't be too long before the first of them start filtering through to dealers.

If they are pre-registered before going to Prodrive doesnt that mean that your car tax is already running so you wont get the full year?

and your tracker?

and insurance maybe?

I think you will find that to register the car they need to tax it .....so that at least will be running.

yes but then you can claim your tax back if the car is not actually being used on the road...they will then re-tax it for 12 months when the new owner picks it up
