Question reading a jap auction report?

Does anyone know how top read one of these? Im getting an impreza from the japanese auctions through an import company. They let me view the auction report before they bid for me, but I dont know what some of it means. Obviously they give me a description, but id like to verify it myself.
Any links, or info would be great.
Thanks.

To start, the grade is the important number regarding condition and IIRC its on a scale of 1-10. Grading is very strict, for example a 4 doesn't sound too great but my car was a 4 and was in good condition.

Thats all I can remember, in fact thats all I understood of the auction sheet, apart from the confirmed milage (in km's) - all the rest was in Japanese

I think the grading is 1 to 5 therefore 4 would be very good and 5 being excellent i think???

The cars imported from auctions have a rating between 1 to 5. five being very good condition and one being a heap. They also have half ratings aswell ie, 4.5.

There is also a seperate category, Cat A. Although this sounds like it would be a good class of car it stands for ACCIDENT DAMAGED,
So stay clear from these ones.

hi mate the grading is 1-5 3.5 being our showroom conditions.then you have R and RA grading these are cars which are accident damage R1 means repaired good .
then you have all the markings stating scratches and dents A=scratches 1 being small 3 being big U=dents again 1-3 then you have xx= panel changed W= paint waved
then you have a box under the grading box which tells you condition of the car from inside A-C
then another box below that which has loads of marks and writing they are all the extras on the car. also you have the km reading chasis no etc hope that helps
