now i know this isnt about a subaru(although there is one involved) i think people should read about this.

Earlier in the week,a guy i know with a silver 1995 skyline gts-t was driving along A61 penistone rd out of sheffield.
while parked at the traffic lights near the new barrack tavern,an impreza pulled behind him so close that he couldnt see the headlights,at which point all 4 doors opened and 4 asians jumped out and headed down both sides of barrys car,at the same time pulling their baseball caps over their faces.
luckily the car in front of barry set off and he ****ed off sharpish.
the scum jumped back in the impreza and gave chase.
anybody who knows this area will now how many sets of lights there are,so he just went through them red or not,he says he hit 150mph past the hillsborough football ground.
he thinks he lost them as he went through wadsley bridge.
he reported it to the cops next morning to be told that they had just found the burnt out impreza.
now i know most of these places will be unknown to most of you,but for us up here this is way to close too home.
so be careful fellow performance car owners.
the *******s are everywhere.

Agreed Jase, and a 1995 car isnt exactly what you would expect them to be after ... just goes to show, if you own something alittle different no matter what the age you need to be very careful out there.

Hes lucky to get away. Unfortunately it happens everywhere and is far too common. These criminals are scum.

Check with your insurance people as you may be shocked as to whether your policy covers you if you are car-jacked at gun-point.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

not pulling your m8 down or owt, but it is hard to get fast speeds on that stretch of road, but like you said adrennalin is a wild thing anyhow glad your m8 is ok! and they should burn the w**kers!!!!!!
