Seems a little bit expensive to me - they promise they are doing the best deal possible but 2.7K seems high.

1.6K for PPP all fitted means its costing 1.1K for the springs and Strut brace!!

Depends on if it's for the WRX or STi,
WRX PPP £1600 total cost includes fitting
Springs £195 plus approx £140'ish for fitting
Strut Brace dunno depends on what one you have but fitting should only be 30mins absolute max.

STi PPP £2000
Springs approx £400 fitted
Same as before for strut brace.

TBH they shouldn't need to charge you for fitting the strut brace coz if your getting the springs done at the same time they've got the struts unbolted anyway.

John.

Cheers for the info - it is just a WRX by the way.

Anyways forget the price the insurers (Elephant) were not keen for the PPP and told me NO to insuring. I currently have an 02 WRX insured with them but they say any BHP increase over 12% is not accepted. They also refused to gimme a discount on my current car when I informed them about the tracker!!

Time for a change I reckon!

errrr. I think springs are £199 a corner.

The dealer who I've just put my deposit down with quoted the kit, fitted at around £900

I have the spring kit fitted to my car the retail price is £195 and this is for FOUR springs hope this helps. If you want official confirmation of this price speak to the parts dept who will confirm. Then speak to the service dept to find out the cost of fitting and GEO check including vat and then you will know the true cost.

I really hope that the spring arent 900 quid....I read that they were about 400 with fitting and VAT. That seemed about right, after all, why would the fitting of the STI springs be less than the WRXs?

Papa, £900 for springs sorry to tell you mate but either your dealer is pulling you leg or fleecing you, I got my '03STi done in December £400 roll-in-roll-out price and IIRC the STi springs are slightly more expensive then the WRX spring kit. Hope this helps.

OK

PPP = £1600 fitted

Prices from Prodrive

Springs - 165.96 + VAT + FITTING
Strut - 170.29 + VAT + FITTING

Looks like somebody is making a mint outta these upgrades!
