From Argos for £19.99. Says on the instructions "Adult supervision may be necessary for younger children."

Hmm, what I think it should say is "Children may be required to show adults how it works."

Took me about 20 mins to transform the git, suffering a broken steering rack midway through. Fixed now, but I'm sure they were easier to manage when I was about 10.

The Japanese ones I have seen are of the standard blob-eye WRX in silver. This is obviously the same basic model, but is in the rally blue, with all the rally logos etc on. Has Makinen's and Lindstrom's names on the side.

If you go to the Argos website and look in Toys, Character Toys, Transformers, you should see it.

I'll take some pics tonight and post them up, for all to see...

Hasbro makes the plastic version and Takara (Japanese model) makes the die-cast one.

Both versions are available in the Subaru WRC colours ie. with no. 7 & 8. The die cast is of superior quality and looks the business.

The die cast is a lot more tricky to handle. Please seek child supervision when attempting to transform it

As requested, here are some pics of the toy:

The 22B is the 1:18 AutoArt model, for a size comparison.

Had to get one today after reading this thread!

I'm sure transformers never used to be this difficult though.

You guys are right, kids can do em no problem, a bit more tricky for us "grown ups"!

Wonder if there's a bugeye to match my car??!!
