Cool

Just had a fantastic weekends driving and thought that I should share it! Started with a drive north to Oban on the A84 to my girlfriends (around 110miles of great twisty up and down road built for an impreza). On Saturday my girlfriends dad asked me if I wanted to help him set up a circuit in the local forest for a horse riding race he was organising. So had a nice recce in his jeep of the 14 mile circuit he had planned and placed the markers required. No big deal so far, but today I helped him retrieve the markers and suggested we use my car instead As I had been checking the track the day before I knew that there were very few potholes and the surface was pretty sound for a forestry commission track, Had a great time flying round the course knowing that you didnt have to worry about any vehicles or people around. Had some big powerslides on the loose gravel and a few sideways moments thanks to the handbrake. Her Dad says he may have some explaining to do to the forestry commission with regards to the sideways tyre tracks but he got out the car with as big a grin as I had No doubt when I wash the car I will find some stone chips but it was well worth it, a couple out walking there dog near the finish of the course looked at us with disgust as we had obviously wasted what should have been a nice tranquil walk for them, cause all the would have heard was the banging of the exhaust To finish the weekend off I have just had a great run home with no traffic to speak off on the road so managed to get home in near record time (stuck to the speed limit all the way though This was a great weekend to own a scoob!!!

Angry

Knew someone would commment on that ! To explain the first mile of the course is open to the public for walking etc, the remainder is too far out for walking therefore I was taking it easy ie snails pace for the first section!!!!
