The SWRT Web Site is advertising a WAP service ( just in time for the Acropolis )

And has anyone got a WAP phone that doesn't crash on a regular basis??? My 7110 seems to lock up randomly using WAP services which then requires a battery reboot.

7110's are pretty notorious for hanging. What firmware has it got? Press *#0000# to find out. I've got 4.74, but I've seen 4.77 and 4.84 on others. I #think# the later the better. There is a rumour you can get the phone re-flashed if you take it to a service agent, but they're hard to find and I've not heard of anyone that's done it.

Well mine says v04.80 and it hasn't hung yet. I find WAP a big disappointment at the moment. Its lucky the 7110 has a flip down front to save face

 

yeah WAP a big disappointment as the phone always seems to hang !!

as it just has when i try the SWRT site !

mines only 4.73 ! be nice to know if upgrade would help and if so where i can get it done ?

time to contact orange i think.

still its a nice phone!!

just got no WAP that works

I've got a 7110 with 4.84 and vodafone and the swrt works fine - no results yet but can't blame the phone for that

Orange, though put a disclaimer out saying it's nowt to do with us if you have problems, check with the Web Site provider so I have E Mailed domino and am awaiting feedback.
